Such a charming local bar, we came by while in town to enjoy some drinks with friends. This bar is pet friendly, and the decor is perfect for a great time. They have a Polaroid camera to capture the fun. Not sure if it's there all the time, but we loved the touch. Parking is street parking but we didn't have a hard time finding parking at all, and the parking is free. :) For their drink menu, they have a bunch of local bourbon to feature, along with a bourbon flight if that's the adventure you choose to go on. Some of their house drinks can be made as mock tails and are quite delicious. While they don't sell food here, there are local restaurants that you're able to bring food in from. The staff is incredibly sweet, and helpful when recommending drinks as well.

Nice, relaxed atmosphere-great Old Fashions. Love sitting at the bar. Bartenders are friendly and welcoming.

A fun bar that throws fun events and loves their sober friends! Stopped in for a book swap and tried a mock tail, they have a wonderful seasonal cocktail menu and extremely well thought out. They are also pet friendly!

Trouble bar is a nice bar for after dinner drinks, date night, or girls night. The space has lots of seating options indoor and outdoor. Great bourbon selection and friendly bartenders. They switch up the menu regularly too which keeps it new each time you visit.

I've always loved Trouble Bar since during the pandemic they ran an event where you could pick up a cocktail kit and make cocktails at home! I kind of wish they'd do it again! My friends and I went to Trouble Bar for a tank top and wig party meetup and had a blast. The restaurant is very cozy yet somehow spacious. The different seating areas make it seem like there's more space than there is since you and your friends can have a little section to yourselves. Ordering from the cocktail menu asking the bartenders for drink recommendations was easy and nice. They had us laughing and gave us lots of compliments on our wigs and tank tops. We all chatted. The restaurant doesn't have food and I hadn't eaten so I ordered from a restaurant and they delivered it to the bar which I loved! I need to go back!

While in the area we were looking for a place to grab a drink and what better than a place with a full 5 stars on yelp? They have a full bourbon/whiskey list and a few that were made specifically for their bar which when you think about it is kind of cool. The staff when we dropped in were so much fun! They went through so many bourbons to tell us about their flavor profile and what we would like based on other things we drink. I settled on a special reserve that I couldn't get anywhere else and it was just as delicious as described. If this wasn't the last stop after a long week of drinking I would have had more because their everything on their drink menu sounded so good! I will be sure to keep this on the list for my next visit to the city.

Another great time was had hanging out at Trouble Bar. The bartenders - or "Troublemakers," as they say - we're so fun to talk to and even tweaked a cocktail into a hot toddy, which was so perfect. The names of the cocktails were sending me back to the early 2000s, I love it. I also love how supportive Trouble Bar is of the causes they believe in, especially by providing Plan B to anyone who needs it. That just goes above and beyond and I really appreciate that.

We were in town visiting for one night, and my husband wanted to find a place to taste some whiskey. I don't drink whiskey, so I am glad we ended up at Trouble Bar! They had a happy hour that included $5 house margaritas, so I ordered one of those as my first drink. It was very tasty. For my second drink, I ordered "You Need to Calm Down", which was their seasonal margarita, and was really good too. My husband ordered a flight of Japanese whiskey and really enjoyed the experience. The flight came with a glass of water, a glass of ice, and a dilution dropper. The staff working were awesome. I would highly recommend coming here, and we will be back next time we are in Louisville. It's a chill spot to hang out, and bonus points for allowing dogs inside!

Trouble Bar is pure magic. They've taken all the work out of learning and tasting whiskey and curated beautiful flights for your enjoyment. This woman-owned business has created a safe and welcoming space that all are welcome in to drink, be merry and share in stories and laughter. They walked us through the flight offerings and helped us decide on our journey through them. They offered other single pour suggestions as compliments or other highlights in between. The team is welcoming, lovely and a pleasure to spend time with. Walking the aisles of a liquor store you often find bottles that looks nice but you have no idea how they really taste until you've purchased. This gave us the chance to experience dozens of bottles for a fraction of the price. We found some new favorites which we sought and bought for the home bar. Truly, Trouble Bar is a gem to this city and other businesses should take note and learn from what they're doing.
